The List: Micronesia - Fans vs Favorites was the tenth edition of the List series. After returning to the islands of Micronesia, The List brought back 8 of it's best competitors as the Favorites, pitting them against 8 fresh faces known as the Fans.
This is the second time in The List franchise that a "Second Chance vs New Player" set-up has been used- the first was the third season where the Veterans won against the Newbies. This is also the first season of The List to start with an odd amount of players at 17 although the merge occured traditionally at the final 10.
Exile Island also made it's return with a slight change from last season. This season each tribe voted for a Chief who would be in charge of choosing which one of their own would be banished to Exile Island and forced to duel. The loser of the duel would be eliminated while the winner would return to their tribe as the new Chief- in turn dethroning their old Chief and assuming control.
Despite merging with a disadvantage and being in the minority practically the entire game, fan Kathy Sleckman/CatLurvesDorothy overcame all the odds and used manipulation to her advantage- getting Cirie Fields/UblazRob to help take her to the finals where she defeated the favorite in a 5-2 vote.
