American Idol All Stars 3 is the third AI-Redux game and the first to be hosted as part of the X Series. This season was dubbed "Foreign Invasion" as there was a desire to consider contestants from other singing competitions from around the world.

The format from Season Two was adopted for the Top 16, however the two groups were split up based by Rookies- who have never made the finals in either of the first two seasons- and the Veterans- who have made the finals on a previous season and are back for revenge.

Randy Jackson/saraholic and Chris Daughtry/chillfact0r7 returned from last season to judge as well as two new judges- last year's winner Kelly Clarkson/Jacare15 as well as another special judge to be introduced in the coming weeks.

Chris Daughtry/chillfact0r7 - Host, Season 1 Winner & Season 2 Judge

Randy Jackson/saraholic - 2nd Runner-Up, Season 1 & Season 2 Judge

Kelly Clarkson/Jacare15 - Season 2 Winner
